Can I say that this goes straight among the highlights of my professional career? Yesterday, at Luiss Guido Carli University astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti paid a visit to our students in the Master "Space Law and Geopolitics". As program manager of the Master, I was asked to chair the event and moderate the Q&A session. Couldn't ask for something more thrilling ...and as you can see in the pictures we had a lot of fun! ☺️ Let me just share a quick thought here: besides the laughs and emotions, Samantha reminded all of us where we stand as Europeans in the human exploration of outer space. We are behind and we need a reaction. I am sure that after this meeting our students will keep an eye on the program that she is leading with the European Space Agency - ESA, called Low Earth Orbit Cargo Return Initiative, and be part of the change Europe needs. 🚀 #Astrosamantha #ESA #LUISS #Master #SpaceLaw #SpacePolicy
