In our 2023 study of 5,408 post-vasectomy specimens in Andrology — one of the findings that stood out to us: A lot of men have counts well below 100,000 sperm/mL weeks after surgery. That doesn't mean the vasectomy failed. But a standard test isn't giving a complete picture. Our patented fixative detects down to 3,000 sperm/mL. Most labs — mail-in or clinic — stop at 100,000.
