We published this in Andrology in 2022 and it's still one of our most clinically relevant findings. For the vast majority of men weeks after vasectomy, motility testing adds nothing clinically useful. Counts are simply too low for it to matter. We analyzed 5,408 specimens. Turns out the preserved specimen is actually more useful. No fresh specimen required. No 2-hour window. And the specimen can be archived if you ever need to go back to it. [link in comments]
