Last week at CNBC's CEO Council Summit in Washington, D.C., our CEO, Howard Hochhauser, joined Patrick Madden, CEO of the National Archives Foundation, for a conversation about how AI and public-private partnerships are transforming access to history. For more than 20 years, Ancestry has partnered with the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to help preserve and expand access to the records that tell the stories of individuals, families, and communities across generations. Today, that collaboration has grown into Ancestry's largest public-private initiative to date, including efforts to digitize more than 65 million previously inaccessible records and make them available online. As Howard shared during the discussion, AI is helping accelerate this work in meaningful ways, from improving the digitization and interpretation of historical documents to creating more engaging and personalized ways for people to discover their own family stories. When trusted institutions, innovative technology, and shared purpose come together, we can unlock history at a scale never before possible and help more people connect with the people, places, and moments that shaped their lives. Thank you to CNBC’s Eamon Javers for leading the discussion and for the opportunity to discuss how we're making history more accessible, discoverable, and relevant for future generations. #WeAreAncestry #Wearethecurious #familyhistory
