This Earth Month, we're honoring the everyday people who helped shape a more sustainable world. As part of our Stories of US initiative — celebrating 250 years of United States history through the lives of ordinary people — Ancestry is collaborating with The Nature Conservancy to spotlight five American conservationists whose legacies continue to inspire. But honoring the past is only part of the story. We're also investing in the future by supporting  five externs through The Nature Conservancy's externship program, developed in partnership with the National Geographic Society to help young leaders build innovative solutions to today's environmental challenges.
