Host of At Work With podcast | Honest conversations about careers, identity & building without a blueprint

In the past two years I have had the privilege to interview leaders from multiple industries; from healthcare and fashion, to tech and entrepreneurship to retail and the third sector. All incredibly different industries with wildly different career paths and definitions of success. I have also made a point in the interviews to ask them, when all is said and done, what they would want their legacy to be. And the answer is almost ALWAYS the same... "I want to be remembered as someone kind. As someone who made a difference to people's lives..." Not a single one of them (so far!) has led with revenue targets or titles. Contrary to popular belief, kindness isn't soft. It's the foundation that the best leaders I've spoken to have built everything else on. Their morals and ethics, their decisions, the way they show up for their teams and their communities. In a world that still rewards performance over people, I find that quietly yet beautifully radical. What do you want to be remembered for? I explore conversations like this every week on my podcast, At Work With. šŸ”— Link in comments.
