At what point did we decide as a society that #CAFO and intensive animal farming like this #dairy farm is the model for successful farming? How did regulatory authorities and environmental bodies approve such farming systems that result in concentrations of animal waste in manure lagoons polluting the air, ground water, water bodies? Not to mention the suffering of animals and impact on human health. I suppose everything was acceptable in the relentless pursuit of "cheap" food. Cows should be #grazing in #pastures as they were meant to, not concentrated in feedlots. That might mean more expensive food but it's an acceptable trade-off for better human, animal and environmental health in my opinion. #Regenerativeagriculture #soilhealth
