When we were looking at locations for our newest property, the brief was specific: within driving distance of Jaipur and Delhi, surrounded by nature, steeped in heritage and overlooked by most travellers. Ajabgarh checked every box. Tucked into the Aravalli foothills near the Sariska Tiger Reserve, it sits between two of Rajasthan's most storied forts Bhangarh and Ajabgarh Fort yet most people have never heard of it. That's exactly what made it right for Ananta. We've always gravitated towards destinations with character that the mainstream tourism circuit hasn't flattened yet. Pushkar was that. Ranthambore, before it became a weekend default, was that. Ajabgarh is the next chapter in the same thinking: find the place with a story, then build something that honours it.
