Today at the Global Semiconductor Alliance European Executive Forum in Munich, ADI’s Fiona Treacy explored how the pace of innovation in industrial systems is not just accelerating, it is compounding. In her keynote, “From Automation to Autonomy: Powering Smart, Resilient Industrial Systems,” Fiona examined the shift from fixed-function automation to flexible, autonomous operations, where physically intelligent systems can sense, reason and act in dynamic real-world environments. Using humanoid robotics as a lens, she highlighted how advances in distributed intelligence, software-defined automation, micro-reflex control and multi-modal fused perception are reshaping industrial system architectures. As sensing, motion, power, and intelligence converge at the edge, ADI is helping enable more adaptive, resilient, and efficient systems that can support the next generation of autonomous operations. #GSAEuropeanForum
