New publication from the lab now out! Great collaboration with Pengyi Yang's lab. Benjamin Y. Lim and Carissa C. used retinal organoids together with single-cell and spatial transcriptome to define the role of retinoic acid signalling in early human retinal development. The study demonstrates that retinoic acid orchestrates cell fate decisions, maturation, and regional patterning, highlighting its central role in establishing retinal identity during human development.
