I've sat in a lot of agricultural events over the years. And I've run more than a few too. And I'll be honest with you: most of them don't work. Not because farmers aren't engaged. Not because the science is wrong. But because the people running them have never stopped to ask: what do we actually want farmers to think, feel and do when they leave? That's the question I've started asking myself before every single event I run. If I can't answer it clearly, I don't run it. In my latest newsletter, I've written about why knowledge exchange in agriculture keeps falling short, what behaviour change actually looks like in a room full of farmers, and why the layout of your chairs might be doing more damage than you think. If you work in agricultural knowledge exchange, advisory, or events, I think you'll recognise a few things in this one. #BritishFarming #FarmingUK #KnowledgeExchange #AgricultureUK #FarmAdvisory #AgriProfessionals #FarmBusiness #RuralBusiness #EmpowerAg
