Founder | CEO @ decipHER women | Maternal Mental Health, Healthcare Systems

Very grateful to NL Startup Competition x Draper University and Erasmus Enterprise for the feature and for helping get decipHER women into rooms where this work can be seen, challenged, and sharpened. Martha Behan and Liesje Goldschmidt - you really built a great series for the competition. This podcast was really fun, and hats off to Paul Hartwig and the whole team there for their research & production - it was a busy day for them! https://lnkd.in/enBcCQYb They steered the conversation to the core of why I started the company: maternal mental health is still treated too often as subjective, vague, or secondary, when the biology is real, measurable, and urgent. **for the record, I did not mean to insult organ-based healthcare! :) Organs are excellent!! Very necessary. I simply want mental health, especially women’s mental health, to get the same biological seriousness & to see our minds as part of our bodies - brains are made of cells, too! Thank you to everyone who has helped move this forward. The pitching may be brutal, but the mission is worth it! Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations (ECWO) Erasmus Enterprise Kansrijke Start VWS Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences Health Holland Rotterdam Square FemTechNL Upstream Festival & Lisette Braakenburg van Backum and others. As ever, I thank my team, Menno Van Der Eijk, Carolyn Keating, PhD, CMPP advisors, Eline van Beest and amazing angel investor & advisor Carmen van Vilsteren
