šŸŽ® K12 (Stride, Inc.) has released another epic educational experience on Roblox! šŸŽ® In AlgeBreak: A Mega Fun Math Obby, players must stop wicked hacker HexElla from her diabolical plans. How? Break into HexElla's lair, solve algebra puzzles, and conquer some truly evil obbies (spinning platforms, lava spikes, and more sinister surprises). šŸ˜ˆšŸ”„šŸŒ€ 🧠 Learning in AlgeBreak is integral to game play (this isn't just multiple-choice questions in a cool space!). Players graph functions on room-sized grids, cross treacherous platforms by stepping only on numbers that are part of a set, and disable lasers by finding their point of intersection. šŸ“ˆĀ šŸ”¢ šŸ”¦ Other key design features include šŸŒ robust world-building and narrative āž”ļø flexible implementation (access any level or progress linearly) āš–ļø balance of learning and fun 🧩 variety of puzzle types and obbies āļø ability to skip difficult obbies Our K12 students will have the option to play AlgeBreak in select Algebra I courses. Anyone can play the game right now on Roblox (7 levels available, with 8 more coming later this fall): https://lnkd.in/eKukWBMp As with our other Roblox experience, AlgeBreak is single-player, with chat and mic disabled. No Robux, no advertising. Michele Patrick šŸ“, Justin Fanzo šŸŽ®, Christopher Herring, Kelly Jarrett, and many others at K12 helped get this project off the ground and bring it to learners. And a huge thank you and kudos to our development partners at FableVision, who have been incredible in building this highly complex game. #StrideLearning #K12 #EdTech #Roblox #RobloxEducation #Algebra #GameBasedLearning #Gamification #MathGame #MathTeacher
