The difficult real estate market situation in Finland is slowly beginning to improve, following a suspension of redemptions by several property fund managers in 2024 and 2025, says Valtteri Vuorio, Head of Research at Newsec Advisory Finland, in Helsinki. “The situation is improving, but it has indeed been very stagnant. OP Rental Yield has been able to reopen for redemptions, but it invests in residential rental properties, which have been easier to sell. Others that invest in shopping centers and office properties have not had the opportunity to divest assets at reasonable prices,” says Vuorio. In this AMWatch article, several other players in the Finnish fund industry express their views on the situation – including Tuomas Virtala, CEO of OP Pohjola Asset Management, Pekka Huttunen, Portfolio Manager at Titanium Asset Management, and Teri Heilala, CEO of S-Pankki Fund Management. #assetmanager #assetmanagement #fundmanager #fundmanagement #Finland #realestatemarket #realestateinvestments #propertyfund #financialmarkets #investments #bankindustry #financialmarkets https://lnkd.in/eCH4DQaE
