𝗔𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗨𝗠𝗖 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗞𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲! 🇨🇿 Last week, more than 30 members of the team from Amsterdam UMC - Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine attended the ESSKA 2026 Congress in Prague. Our department contributed extensively to the scientific programme with multiple presentations and e-posters. Anne D van der Made, Gino Kerkhoffs and Vincent Gouttebarge were invited speakers for the IOC Team Physician Course. In addition, seven team members presented their work during oral presentation sessions: Juliëtte Pijnacker, Milo Mokkenstorm, Jason Steman, Quinten Rikken, Jari Dahmen, Chiel Klein, Arno Macken and Gwendolyn Vuurberg. Our team also contributed 12 e-posters, including five submitted by the “poster king” Julian Hollander 👑. Lastly Juliëtte Pijnacker won the best poster award in the Ankle category. A big thank you to the ESSKA - European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy 2026 organizing team for an excellent congress, and to all our colleagues who contributed to the conference.
