At AMST, we build training devices that can push pilots to their physical limits. But pushing limits always goes hand in hand with our top priority: safety. That is why we regularly work with those who know emergency situations best. Recently, a team of fire brigade height rescuers joined us to test evacuation procedures on our Ejection Seat Trainer together with AMST staff. In the scenario, the ejection seat was stuck in an elevated position and the pilot had to be brought safely back to the ground. What followed was a highly focused, hands-on collaboration. We tested procedures, equipment, and response times while the rescuers shared their expertise to ensure a safe, efficient recovery. For us, this is more than a test. It’s a partnership built on trust, experience, and a shared commitment to safety. The fire brigade trains in unusual environments, we refine our systems, and both sides learn from each other. We are especially proud that many of our colleagues are volunteer firefighters themselves, always ready to step in and help when it matters most.
