During the Honors Night of Aerospace Medical Association's (AsMA) Annual Scientific Meeting AsMA 2026 in Denver, Dr. Angus Rupert received the prestigious Kent K. Gillingham Award on behalf of COL (Rtd) Dr. Ian Curry. Dr. Ian Curry is internationally recognized for his longstanding contributions to spatial disorientation research, human performance, and aviation safety. Through decades of work in aerospace medicine and military aviation research, he has significantly advanced the understanding of pilot spatial disorientation and its impact on flight operations and training. The award was presented by Harald Muckenhuber, Sales Director at AMST-Systemtechnik GmbH, proud sponsor of the Kent K. Gillingham Award.
