AMST has been awarded a contract for the refurbishment and upgrade of 3 AIRFOX DISO Spatial Disorientation Trainers operated by the Indian Air Force. The systems are installed at key training locations and have been in service for more than 18 years. The scope of the program includes a comprehensive modernization of the existing devices, aimed at aligning their performance and capabilities with current technological and operational standards: - AMST’s VISIM Image Generator for enhanced visual realism - State-of-art projection technology by Norxe - Electric motion platform for improved motion cueing - Advanced Medical System with capability for in-flight hypoxia demonstrations - Night Vision (NV) capability - NIGHTFOX VTIGS dynamic NV training system With this project, AMST continues its long-standing support of the Indian Air Force. The contract highlights the importance of lifecycle management, refurbishment, and upgrade programs in maintaining the operational value of established training systems over extended periods of service.
