Big career update! I’m thrilled to share that I’ve started a new role as 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝘀𝗲. I actually started several months ago. In this work, I help organizations deeply understand what their customers 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱, 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 — and ensure business decisions are grounded in real human insights (versus assumptions made by people in board rooms). Through customer experience consulting, I support companies in designing processes and services that 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆, and 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 with the people they serve. To give you a peek into my day-to-day, I'm working on qualitative and quantitative research, process mapping, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to align on the current journey and envision future states. I love that I get to work with clients across public and private sectors, from solar energy to healthcare. I wouldn’t be here without the guidance and encouragement of so many generous mentors. 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 to Tom Mulhern, Tori Signorelli, CCXP, Mauricio Manhaes, Ph.D., Peter Sharp, and Yasmin McCall for sharing your expertise in 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝘀, 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, and navigating a big career pivot amid all the shifts redefining how we work, create, and connect. You all in particular went above and beyond in supporting my ambitions. To everyone who’s been part of this journey so far — thank you. I’ll be thanking more incredible colleagues and friends in a future post.
