تأكيداً على التزام أمرك بدعم الاستدامة والمسؤولية البيئية والمبادرات المجتمعية، نظم مجلس شباب أمرك ورشة لزراعة أشجار الغاف بالتعاون مع جمعية الإمارات للتسامح والسعادة، بحضور سعادة المستشار أحمد بن سودين البلوشي، نائب رئيس الجمعية، ومشاركة السيد جاسم المرزوقي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة أمرك، إلى جانب عدد من المدراء والموظفين. وأكد السيد جاسم المرزوقي أن أمرك سعدت باستضافة سعادة المستشار أحمد بن سودين البلوشي، الذي يُعد من الشخصيات الفاعلة وصاحب إسهامات بارزة في خدمة المجتمع وترسيخ قيم التسامح والعطاء والعمل التطوعي. وأضاف أن الزيارة عكست أهمية تعزيز التواصل بين المؤسسات الوطنية والمجتمع، مشيراً إلى إشادة سعادته بمستوى الكفاءات الوطنية العاملة في أمرك وبرامج التأهيل والتطوير التي تقدمها الشركة لإعداد جيل واعد من المتخصصين في قطاع صيانة الطائرات. وسلطت الورشة الضوء على شجرة الغاف، الشجرة الوطنية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وأهميتها البيئية ودورها في دعم الاستدامة ومكافحة التصحر. كما أتاحت للمشاركين فرصة المساهمة في زراعة شتلات الغاف، بما يعزز الوعي البيئي ويشجع على تبني الممارسات المستدامة. As part of AMMROC’s commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and community engagement, the AMMROC Youth Council organized a Ghaf Tree Planting Workshop in collaboration with the Emirates Society for Tolerance and Happiness. The event was attended by H.E. Counselor Ahmed Bin Suwaiden Al Balushi, Vice President of the Society, alongside Mr. Jasem Almarzooqi, Chief Executive Officer of AMMROC, and a number of managers and employees. Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Jasem Almarzooqi stated: “We were delighted to welcome H.E. Counselor Ahmed Bin Suwaiden Al Balushi, a distinguished community leader known for his contributions to promoting tolerance, volunteerism, and social responsibility. His visit highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between national institutions and the community. We were also pleased to showcase the capabilities of our Emirati talent and the training and development programs that AMMROC provides to prepare the next generation of aerospace maintenance professionals.” The workshop highlighted the significance of the Ghaf tree, the national tree of the UAE, and its role in supporting sustainability and combating desertification.
