Automated Bio-Fermenter: Advancing Organic Farming and Rural Prosperity For the past five years, the PEARL Project, implemented by SSEVS - Samagra Sikchhan Evam Vikas Sansthan, Bettiah, has been empowering marginalized communities across six Panchayats and eight hamlets of Bagaha-01 through initiatives in education, health, women’s empowerment, adolescent leadership, and sustainable livelihoods. As part of its commitment to sustainable agriculture, an automated bio-fermenter has been established in Chaubariya hamlet to promote scientific organic farming. Through this innovation, farmers are preparing Jeevamrit—a natural bio-enhancer that enriches the soil and stimulates plant growth—and Brahmastra, a botanical pesticide that protects crops from pests without the use of synthetic chemicals. These eco-friendly inputs are enabling farmers to produce healthier crops while preserving the environment and improving their livelihoods.
