Academic Resources for teaching children with Down Syndrome is quite scarce in Iran. At Booka Publishing Group, we made it our goal to gather and publish a selection dedicated to children with down syndrome in 2017. Today, not only did we translate over 20 storybooks for children with all kinds of special needs, but we collaborate with Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies and Special Education Organization to make specific teaching resources available to Iranian teachers educating our children with down syndrome. As the Head of the German department at Booka, I translated many books from DE to FA, the followings are some of them : - “Die Geschichte von Prinz Seltsam: wie gut, dass jeder anders ist!” by Silke Schnee and Heike Sistig,2011 - “Ein Elefant mit rosaroten Ohren” by Barbara Resch and Wolf Harrant,1973 - “Ich bin Laura: ein Mädchen mit Down-Syndrom erzählt” by Wilhelm Topsch,2002 - “Florian lässt sich Zeit: eine Geschichte zum Down-Syndrom” by Adele Sansone,2002 - “Meine Füße sind der Rollstuhl” by Franz-Joseph Huainigg,1992 - “Das kliene ich bin ich” by Mira Lobe,1972 - “Lukas ist wie Lukas” by Dagmar H. Müller and Susanne Szesny,2006 #author #children #exceptional #trisomie #exceptionalchildren #childrenbooks #downsyndrome #teaching #publishing #translate
