No hospital in Europe would operate on baby Filip’s tiny heart. Sheba’s pediatric cardiac team said yes. Born premature with multiple serious heart defects, Filip traveled from Slovenia to Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer for two complex, life-saving surgeries that other centers would not attempt because of his size. His journey is one of the pediatric stories we’re highlighting this month, showing how Sheba’s expertise gives even the smallest patients a chance at a healthy future.
