About a month ago, during Yom HaZikaron, a quiet moment in Sheba’s neurological rehabilitation unit carried extraordinary weight. A soldier who had been badly injured and hospitalized for a long time stood up with the help of a rehabilitation device, his physiotherapist, and the staff member who works with him every day. As the siren sounded, he stood not only for himself, but in memory of those who did not come back.
