Incoming student MPhil Therapeutic Sciences @ Cambridge University | First Class Graduate Biomedical Sciences BSc (Hons) @ University of Edinburgh | Exchange Student @ Cornell

As my time at the The University of Edinburgh comes to an end, I am pleased to share that I have been awarded a First Class Honours in Biomedical Sciences. My dissertation explored drug combinations to treat T315I-mutated chronic myeloid leukaemia, with a particular focus on the use of tyrosine kinase inhibitors in combination with NXP900. This project was especially rewarding, allowing me to engage with mechanisms of drug resistance and potential strategies for overcoming therapeutic limitations in CML. I am excited to be continuing my studies, having accepted an offer from the University of Cambridge, where I will be undertaking an MPhil in Therapeutic Sciences this autumn. A huge thank you to my supervisors and everyone who supported me throughout my degree. I’m really looking forward to the next chapter.
