Can you guess our Mystery Cocktail? One of the projects I got to lead this year was rethinking our stand experience at Taste of London Festival . Along with the Mixtons founders, we started cooking up a fun idea I'll be honest, my idea sparked from watching a viral mystery milkshake Tiktok from a little cafe in the US over a year ago. Instead of just handing people a cocktail and hoping they bought one, we wanted to give them something to play with. So Ranjit Dhumale created two mystery cocktails. One spirit. Three ingredients. No clues. Your job was to work out what was in them. Guess one ingredient right? 10% off. Two? 20%. Three? 50%. Get all four ingredients across both cocktails and your drinks were on us. Watching people become so invested was honestly the best part. Friends debating ingredients, strangers helping each other out, people coming back later in the day for another attempt… it completely changed the energy around the stand. We paired it with a much more open, garden inspired layout, and for the first time, the activation felt so "iconicly Mixtons" It’s always nice when a slightly random idea scribbled on a whiteboard actually works.
