I am beyond excited to join MIT this fall to pursue my PhD in biology! During my visit weekend I was blown away by the amazing science, tight-knit community, and thoughtful programmatic approach to building the next generation of scientists. Despite all this, it was the room where students can grab infinite free bananas that really sealed the deal! Banana-like in infinitude is my gratitude to all those who helped make this next adventure possible — thank you to Shivani Ahuja, Arthur Glasfeld, Quincey Justman, Johan Paulsson, and my wider communities from Reed College and Harvard Medical School for all of your support, mentorship, and kindness along the way.
