Economics & Mathematics Graduate | MSc Business Analytics at Imperial College London | Research & Data Analytics

I’m pleased to share that I have successfully completed my Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from Lahore School of Economics. Looking back, my undergraduate journey was far more than coursework and exams. It provided me with opportunities to engage in meaningful research, develop analytical skills, and gain practical experience beyond the classroom. During my time at Lahore School of Economics, I worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for Research in Economics and Business (CREB), where I contributed to projects related to SME financing and access to credit. Through this experience, I gained valuable exposure to survey design, field research, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and policy-oriented research. I also had the opportunity to work at ITC on research examining the economic viability of solar panel adoption in Pakistan. This strengthened my understanding of primary data collection, research methodologies, and evidence-based analysis. In addition, serving as a Teaching Assistant for courses including Statistics, Game Theory, and Psychology helped me develop leadership, communication, mentoring, and organizational skills while supporting students throughout their academic projects. My final year thesis focused on the barriers faced by SMEs in Pakistan in obtaining bank loans, involving primary research, survey-based data collection, and econometric analysis. This project further strengthened my interest in data-driven decision-making and business analytics. I am incredibly grateful to my professors, mentors, colleagues, and friends who contributed to my growth throughout this journey. As I close this chapter, I am excited to begin the next one—pursuing an MSc in Business Analytics at Imperial College London this August. #Economics #Research #BusinessAnalytics #DataAnalytics #HigherEducation #SMEs #ImperialCollegeLondon
