One of the biggest risks in manufacturing isn't a cyberattack or equipment failure. It's leadership operating with an incomplete picture of reality. The people closest to production often see more downtime, infrastructure issues, and operational disruptions than the leaders responsible for prioritizing investments. When those issues aren't visible at the executive level, they become normalized. Risk accumulates. Resilience suffers.
