Ambulance Victoria is working to become a more culturally responsive organisation and build trust in communities, including delivering our first Aboriginal Health Forum earlier this month, and visiting schools with a high percentage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to teach them when to call an ambulance, what to expect when paramedics arrive and basic first aid. We’re hiring an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Specialist to help drive inclusive workforce programs and support reconciliation.
