🇬🇧 The Volvo Amazon: The car where it all started! Amazon Adventures started when Klaas Postma, as chairman of the Volvo Classic Association in 1995, organized a trip to the North Cape. The trip was such a success that more followed; in 2000 the Mockba Trophy to Moscow and in 2002 the Sahara Challenge across Morocco. The great enthusiasm among the participants motivated Klaas to devise bigger adventures together with his brother Fred; the Routte 66, the Panamaricana, Bant to Beijing. The rest is history! ✨ 🇳🇱 De Volvo Amazon: de auto waar het allemaal mee begon! Amazon Adventures is begonnen toen Klaas Postma als voorzitter van de Volvo Klassieker Vereniging in 1995 een reis baar de Noordkaap organiseerde. De reis was zo'n daverend succes dat er meer volgende; in 2000 de Mockba Trophy naar Moskou en in 2002 de Sahara Challenge dwars door Marokko. Het grote enthousiasme onder de deelnemers motiveerde Klaas om samen met zijn broer Fred steeds grotere avonturen te bedenken; de Routte 66, de Panamaricana, Bant to Beijing.
