From LNMIIT Jaipur, at the heart of LNMHacks / The Monad-hosted hackathon, where ideas are tested at 3 AM and bugs become teammates 🚀 Hackathons like these aren’t about perfection—they’re about clarity under chaos, engineering tradeoffs, and building something real under extreme time constraints. At this hackathon, our team built 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗫 — a web-based competitive skill platform designed to make human skills verifiable, competitive, and digitally meaningful. 🧩 The Problem (why this matters) You can solve: 5 DSA problems flawlessly A tricky chess puzzle under time pressure A typing test at 120 WPM …and still walk away with nothing verifiable. No instant validation. No fair comparison. No ownership of achievement. Screenshots fade. Ratings stay platform-locked. Skills deserve better. 🚀 The Shift — Skill X Instead of asking “How do you look?” or “How much did you scroll?”, Skill X asks one question: Can you actually do it? Skill X turns skills into live, verifiable events: Choose a challenge (DSA / Competitive Programming, Chess, Typing, Sudoku) Solve it → automatically verified using trusted APIs & datasets Winners are determined instantly (solo or 1v1) Scores update live on real-time leaderboards Designed for future skill ownership & monetization (NG-NFTs) No hype. No guessing. Just performance. ⚙️ Tech Behind It Frontend: React (real-time, responsive UI) Backend: Spring Boot (verification, scoring, leaderboard engine) Data/APIs: Lichess puzzles, typing libraries, open-source Sudoku & DSA datasets DB: MySQL / MongoDB I worked on both frontend and backend, building UI–API flows, verification pipelines, scoring logic, and live updates. 👥 Team Leader: Saurabh Kumar Singh Blockchain/Web3: Amogh Shrivastav, Ritik Roushan Frontend & Backend: Aman Verma Huge respect to my teammates for the rapid iterations and clean execution 🙌 Grateful to LNMIIT for creating an environment where experimentation meets engineering depth. If skills matter, they should be measurable, comparable, and owned. On to building more 💻🔥 #LNMHacks #Monad #Hackathon #SystemDesign #DSA #CompetitiveProgramming #WebDevelopment #ProductEngineering #StudentDeveloper #LNMIIT
