Reflecting on my immersion in Silicon Valley earlier this September, I realized how stepping outside our own world and looking beyond reveals a reality in constant transformation — where people tirelessly pursue progress, both for themselves and for others. At the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University, I experienced how knowledge can be transformed into ideas that generate real value — for people, businesses, and society. These moments were enriched by inspiring references: Holly Schroth, Ph.D., Gregory LaBlanc, Barry Katz, Anne Fletcher, Sheryl C., Cynthia Bailey, C.K. Wolfe, and Cheryl Edison. During visits to companies, startups, and lectures with organizations like HP, Amazon, MBC BioLabs, Plug and Play Tech Center, and ServiceNow, it became even clearer how the power of relationships and constant change can drive the construction of a better world — led by people like Helen Y. Chen, Ellen Cowan, Kelley Steven-Waiss, and Kimberly Delgadillo. This journey not only brought valuable connections and new perspectives but also strengthened the courage to explore new knowledge. More than a unique experience, it marked the beginning of a continuous process of growth and transformation. My sincere gratitude to PROFUTURO - FIA Business School, especially Renata Spers, PhD, Samantha Mazzero, PhD, and Fabiana Cherubim Bortoleto, for making this experience possible — and to my colleagues from cohort IMBA28: Aline Tripodi Causo, Aline Emidio de Paula, Lívia Magro, Caroline Ferraz, Gabriela Marchesi, Luana Sakihara, Giovanna Leonetti, and Wanessa S., whose companionship and collaborative spirit made every step even more meaningful. A special thanks to Gigi Wang, a true example of determination and commitment — an endless source of inspiration — and to my mentor and manager Marcelo Rodolfo de Assis, for the continuous support and encouragement to walk the path of purposeful and impactful leadership. #SiliconValleyExperience #Networking #LeadershipWithPurpose #ConnectingDots
