This week, our Calgary team came together to listen, learn and celebrate the cultures, traditions and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples—while recognizing the histories that continue to shape our work, partnerships and relationships today. Together, we unveiled a custom art piece by local artist Kalum Dan at our Calgary headquarters. Inspired by the connection between land, community and energy across the regions where we operate, the artwork will stand as a lasting reminder of our commitment to meaningful partnership, respect and shared progress with Indigenous communities. We were also honoured to have Elder Hal Eagletail open the gathering with a traditional blessing and honour song. June 21 marks National Indigenous Peoples Day, and this week’s event offered an important opportunity to pause, reflect and recognize the value of listening, learning and building respectful relationships. Thank you to Kalum, Elder Hal and our employees and leadership team who helped make the unveiling so meaningful.
