Small moments. Shared places. That’s how community comes together. Over the past few months, our team in Prince Rupert has spent time across the region taking part, supporting local initiatives, and connecting with the people who make these places what they are. Across the region, that has included: 🎨 Seafest: connecting with the community during the parade and at our craft table in Cow Bay as part of a celebration that brings the region together 🐟 Salmon in Schools: supporting students through providing nutritious lunches and access to healthy protein 🏆 Community connection: recognizing leadership at the Prince Rupert Business Excellence Awards and connecting with future talent at the Gitga’at Career Fair ⛳ Local support: giving back through a charity golf tournament in Prince Rupert 🗣️ Listening and learning: joining important conversations at the N2N Women’s Gathering 🌊 Hands-on action: taking part in a shoreline cleanup in the District of Port Edward and helping care for the coast we all share 🦺 Investing in people and the region's local workforce: the Ridley Island Energy Export Facility (REEF) Operator Training Program toured our open access export facility to see safe operations firsthand.
