🚆Alstom to help deliver a modern rail network for Queensland🚆 We’re proud to share that Alstom has been awarded a €69m contract by the Department of Transport and Main Roads to deliver advanced signalling for Sector 1 North along Brisbane’s North Coast (Sunshine Coast) line by the Queensland Government – a key milestone in the State’s rail network modernisation. As part of Stage 1 of The Wave project, we’re partnering with the Queensland Government to deploy our globally proven Onvia Control ETCS Level 2 technology – helping boost capacity, safety and reliability across the network. With Queensland preparing to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, this project is a critical step in building the digital rail backbone needed for a world-class transport network.
