Alstom will supply 153 new Adessia Stream trains to CP - Comboios de Portugal, EPE, the largest train acquisition ever signed in Portugal. This €1.03 billion contract will strengthen suburban services in Lisbon, Porto and Cascais, and improve regional mobility across the country. All trains are designed specifically for the needs of the Portuguese network. The project will also support long‑term industrial development in Portugal and close to 300 direct jobs will be created through a new manufacturing site in Matosinhos. Passengers will benefit from modern, accessible and sustainable trains built with eco‑design principles and a recyclability rate above 95%.
