Big steps forward in La Corne-en-Vexin: our 100 MW / 200 MWh BESS project in France is progressing fast – and staying firmly on track. 🏗️ First 16 of 52 containers already on site and installed 🏗️ Groundworks for container installation completed 🏗️ Civil works for the substation well advanced And the next milestones are already lined up: 🔋 First batteries racks arriving in July ⚡ 110 MVA transformer expected on site in July 🛠️ Cold commissioning is about to start ahead of schedule At the same time, Alpiq is steadily building its BESS footprint across Europe. We already have two BESS in operation: a 30 MW facility in Valkeakoski, Finland, and the 100 MW Cheviré BESS in the port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire, France. And we continue to work towards our strategic goal of operating a multi-GW BESS portfolio by 2030. Battery storage is a key enabler of the energy transition – helping integrate more renewable electricity, support grid stability and strengthen security of supply.
