What does the future of rail look like? You might catch a glimpse at this year’s Alpha Trains European Railway Challenge. Alpha Trains Group is delighted to continue as main sponsor, supporting an event where students, trainees, and young professionals transform ideas into reality - designing and building their own 1:5 scale locomotives. After months of planning and engineering, eight teams will compete in Bad Schussenried (5–7 June 2026), putting their locomotives to the test in innovation, reliability, and energy efficiency.
