Some moments stay with you forever. I still remember the day the Jamia Millia Islamia MA Sociology shortlisted candidates list came out. My hands were shivering, my heart was racing, but I opened it anyway. And there it was! my roll number. At that moment, I could do nothing but cry. A few months earlier, I was so worried about my future. For Jamia, I gave my best, kept my hopes alive, and prayed for a miracle. And then it happened. Admission in the first list itself. It was not just happiness, it was relief, gratitude, and pride all at once. Little Almie would never believe she would one day study in such a big university. She would be so proud. Alhamdulillah for everything.💗
