Intelligence Does Not End at the Edge of the Brain When we talk about intelligence, we usually focus on what happens inside a system: neurons, algorithms, memory, or reasoning. But what if that is already the wrong starting point? What if intelligence cannot be understood without the environment that continuously supplies information, energy, constraints, and feedback? A brain without a world cannot learn. An AI model without data, infrastructure, and interaction cannot act. Perhaps intelligence is not something contained within a system, but something that emerges through the relationship between a system and its environment. This is the central idea of the third article in my series Structural Conditions for the Existence of Intelligence. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/e-cqwYBA
