We celebrated the 15th annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) — which is a day that hits differently when you're a digital bank. We kicked off the day with accessibility and disability trivia, then welcomed keynote speaker Lucy Edwards for a conversation that reinforced exactly why this work matters. Lucy, a broadcaster, journalist, content creator, and disability activist, lost her full eyesight at 17. She's since built a global following of over 2.8 million and over one billion views — becoming one of the leading voices in the DI&B space. Her talk, "I Lost My Eyesight But Not My Vision: Resilience, Taking Back Control and Figuring Out Your 'Why'", gave us a lot to bring back to the work we do every day. As the nation's largest all-digital bank, our app and website aren't just convenient… they're the only way our customers bank with us. That means accessibility isn't a feature, it’s part of the foundation. Accessibility encompasses what we stand for: removing the barriers that stand in the way of people's financial progress and being a true financial ally for all. #DoItRight
