The real star of graduation was Lily Rue. 🐾🎓 After years of loyal service, unwavering companionship, and steadfast commitment to my academic success, Lily Rue was officially hooded by Rowan University’s president, Dr. Ali Houshmand and awarded her honorary Doctor of Loyal Service (D.L.S.) from Rowan University. Her degree recognizes what no transcript could ever fully capture: the quiet support, grounding presence, and unconditional love that helped carry me through this doctoral journey. Every doctorate needs a support system. Mine just happened to have four paws. ❤️
