I'm incredibly excited to share that I am officially transitioning from my internship into a full-time GRC Analyst role at Grand Canyon Education! 🎉 Over the past year, I've had the opportunity to grow in an educational environment that values innovation, compliance excellence, and continuous learning. From supporting IT audit and risk management initiatives, to assisting with vendor security reviews via OSINT, this has truly been a journey I could not have dreamed of in the beginning of my college education. I'm incredibly grateful for the mentorship and support from the GCE IT Security and GRC team; thank you for investing your wisdom and training in me, and trusting me to take on some significant projects that challenged my skill set and helped accelerate my growth. The training and encouragement they've given shaped not only my technical skills, but also boosted my confidence in pursing a career in GRC in the first place. Thank you, Samantha Kitts, Daniel Addington, and Michael Manrod!! As I begin this new chapter in my career, I'm excited to continue supporting SOX compliance initiatives, vendor analysis, software governance, and strengthening our internal security processes across GCE, GCU, and Orbis. This role has allowed me to see firsthand the importance of proper internal procedures to ensure continued security and business excellence. A huge thank you again to everyone who has supported me through this journey, whether it be mentors, teammates, professors, or fellow students, and I'm excited to see where this next chapter leads.
