Yesterday, colleagues from Allianz Retire+ volunteered at Our Big Kitchen (OBK) in Bondi, and saw firsthand the impact of a simple meal. Together, the team prepared close to 100 meals for people doing it tough this winter, including those facing food insecurity or escaping domestic violence. Time spent with the OBK team reinforced just how critical this support is. A warm meal offers more than nourishment, it can provide dignity, stability and a moment of relief when it’s needed most. With demand continuing to grow, OBK’s role in supporting vulnerable Australians has never been more important. Each year, they prepare 250,000+ meals and support more than 33 charities, an incredible contribution to the community.
