Alleyn’s is proud to support MIT’s Global Teaching Labs programme to continue and strengthen its relationship with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Enabled by the ambition of our staff and the generous support of our donors, this collaboration reflects our shared commitment to excellence and innovation in STEM education. Through this partnership, Alleyn’s has welcomed two MIT undergraduates for the second year running. This month, Sophia Guan and Inimai Subramanian (pictured) have been supporting our Computer Science, CanSat and AiQ lessons, working closely with students and staff. Global Teaching Labs places talented undergraduates in schools around the world to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators, and we are delighted to play a role in this important initiative. During their time with us, Sophia and Inimai are being hosted by Alleyn’s parents, helping them to feel fully part of our school community. Their visit has been coordinated through the Alleyn’s Development and Alumni Relations Office, reflecting the strength of our wider community and our commitment to meaningful global partnerships.
