A&G’s Practice Trainee Contract Applications for 2028 will be opening on Wednesday, 1 July 2026! Ever wondered what life at A&G looks like beyond legal work? While legal practice is intellectually demanding, we believe that a fulfilling career is also about maintaining balance and taking time to recharge. Our Associate Marsha S., a familiar face at many of the Firm’s sporting events, shares about the events that she has taken part in. “I think it is great that A&G encourages everyone to lead an active lifestyle and supports our participation in sports and wellness events. Taking short pockets of time off work helps me to rest my mind, so that I can come back to work refreshed. Last year, I managed to take part in the Just Jalan walkathon, Standard Chartered Half Marathon, JP Morgan Corporate Challenge (where we unexpectedly placed 3rd in the U25 women’s category), NTUC Income Eco Run, and the Bench & Bar Games in Malacca. It was great being able to take part in these events alongside partners, fellow associates, and others in the legal industry outside the work setting. Going for these road races also allows me to recharge, interact and bond with colleagues I wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to meet.” – Marsha Shahrin, Associate at Allen & Gledhill.
