We are pleased to announce the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between Allen & Gledhill and the East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL), marking a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration between practice and academia to advance legal education and research. The signing ceremony was attended by Allen & Gledhill Managing Partner Jerry Koh and Partners Stephen Phua BBM, PBM, Ong William, Christopher Koh, and Bik Wei Lee, alongside a delegation from ECUPL comprising Director of International Exchange Center & Dean of International School Professor Wu Qiaofang, Professor NA LI, Mr Li Yong, and Ms Hu Yilu. Under the agreement, both parties will work together to develop and implement a range of initiatives, including student internship opportunities, joint research programmes, academic lectures, seminars, and other knowledge-sharing exchanges. Through these initiatives, we aim to encourage dialogue and engagement between legal practitioners, academics, and aspiring legal professionals, while supporting the exchange of ideas and perspectives that contribute to continued growth and excellence within the profession.
