Among growth leaders surveyed in the 2026 AlixPartners Disruption Index, 51% have widely deployed agentic AI — compared to just 14% of slower-growing peers. The gap between AI leaders and laggards is widening. The winning organizations are those that have moved from experimentation to execution. But contradictions remain, and close scrutiny of public statements about results is needed to separate fact from fiction.
