Does anyone else think Rt Hon Rachel Reeves well intentioned announcements on share ownership and investing might do more harm than good? Large financial institutions have a history of putting their own interests ahead of their customers. I fear this could be the foundation step in creating the next mis-selling scandal. I would agree that there is a lack of understanding of the benefits of long term investing and share ownership in the UK. However, I would urge anyone considering their options to seek independent advice.
